Our mission

Financial literacy is a right, not a privilege.

We believe the earlier you learn how money works, the freer your life becomes. That's why Capital 4 Youth exists — to teach high schoolers what school forgets.

Mission statement

Capital 4 Youth is a youth-led financial literacy initiative focused on equipping high school students with the essential knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions. Recognizing the gap in financial education within traditional school systems, our organization delivers structured, student-centered programs that simplify key topics such as budgeting, saving, credit, and investing through interactive workshops and practical applications. By making finance accessible and relevant, we aim to build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and empower students to develop responsible money habits that support long-term financial success.

01

The problem

Most teens graduate high school knowing more about mitochondria than about interest rates. Credit card debt, missed investing years, and money stress follow — often for life.

02

Our answer

Short, honest, teen-friendly lessons plus hands-on workshops, multi-week cohorts, and guest speakers from finance and business. Real numbers, real scenarios, no jargon — delivered by students who get it, for students who need it.

03

Free, forever

Every workshop, every guide, every resource we publish stays free. Money knowledge should never be locked behind a paywall.

04

Student-led

Our team is high schoolers and recent grads. We speak the language, know the pressure, and build what we wish we'd had.
